There is a wonderful little mall in the center of town that runs down Washington Street. The mall is full of small slothing stores, souvenir shops and plenty of places to buy fudge, salt water taffy or ice cream.

Most of the shops in the mall maintain Cape May's Victorian charm.

We were told that this building at one time housed a brothel. We often found ourselves wondering when to believe the stories we heard.
